The POMES device is designed for measuring, storing, and transmitting protective potential values at steel gas pipeline protection potential measurement stations. Its compact size allows installation in virtually any type of potential measurement station.
The device’s four inputs enable the measurement of up to four potential values at a measurement station. The POMES unit can also perform extraordinary measurements synchronized with cathodic protection stations to assess the protection level of the pipeline section.
With its default hourly data collection, the device can store up to six months of data in its internal non-volatile memory. With an optional SD card, it can store practically unlimited amounts of data.
The device transmits the collected data to the central server via mobile internet.
