The CAPOS+ control and monitoring unit is designed for controlling cathodic protection stations that provide active corrosion protection for gas pipelines. It regulates electrical parameters, measures, collects, and stores electrical data, and transmits it to the central server.
In addition to measuring cathodic current and voltage, the CAPOS+ can measure two additional potential values, store the measured data, and transmit it to the central server. Using its built-in SD card, it can store up to 20 years of data history.
The device can regulate the cathodic current to maintain the cathodic voltage or structure potential at a predefined level. In addition to automatic regulation, output values can also be manually adjusted.
The cathodic station synchronization function allows for assessing the protection status of the specific pipeline section.
